About me

Alexander Holvoet

I am a mathematician with diverse experience in the education field and passionate about improving mathematics education in evidence-informed ways with technology. After obtaining my Master’s I worked in the EdTech sector, taught in secondary and higher education and I am now working on a PhD in mathematics education.

A full CV can be found on LinkedIn. A list of all research output can be found on Orcid, Google Scholar or my university profile.

My main interest currently is mathematical proof education, with particular attention to formal logic but curious about many different perspectives (philosophical, psychological, didactical, …). My other interests are practical ways to include technology in mathematics education and neurodivergent teachers.

Feel free to contact me to chat if you, both teacher and researcher alike, have any questions or ideas about these topics or my current roles underneath.
